Uncontrollable tears as Mercy Asiedu, Christiana Awuni and other Kumahood icons visit Bishop Nyarko's family


Kumawood actress Mercy Aseidu and her colleague Christiana Awuni were all in tears when they visited the late Bishop Nyarko’s mother.
The popular actor before his death on Saturday, May 2, 2020 quit acting to follow the footsteps of Majid Michel to preach the gospel of God.
Mercy Asiedu and Christiana Awuni broke into tears just after visiting the mother and the family of Bernard Nyarko to send their condolences.

In the video sighted, Mercy Asiedu and Christiana Awuni could not hold back their tears as they cried their heart out for some minutes before communicating with the family.
Brother of Bishop Bernard Nyarko, Isaac Darko in an interview with SVTV Africa revealed that there will be a private one-week observation at their residence in Accra and Kumasi respectively.

According to him, the private one-week observation will take place on Saturday, May 9 at Lake Side–Ashaley Botwe near the Police Station and Pakoso–Asokore Mampong in Kumasi.

Court Bonds Rev Obofour For Infringing Copyright Law An Accra Circuit Court has bonded Reverend Kwaku Agyei Antwi alias Rev. Obofour to be of good behaviour for six months for extracting part of Celestine Donkor’s song titled “Agbebolo”- bread of life, without her consent. He pleaded guilty with an explanation to infringement of copyright contrary to Sections 42(1)(a) and 43 of Copyright Act of 2005, (Act 690). Rev. Obofour told the Court presided over by Madam Eva Bannerman Williams that he accepted liability as the owner of the various Television (TV) stations that used her music without consulting her, adding that he had already met her and paid compensation. The Court took the explanation as a plea for mitigation convicted Rev Obofour on his own plea.
