  Former Big Brother Africa housemate, Elikem Kumordzie has admitted sleeping with old rich women. Speaking in an interview with ex Big brother Africa housemate, Selly Galley on the Opinions show on Joy Prime TV, the reality show star stated that even though he has benefitted so much from dating opulent older women, they have in turn had a fair share of help from him as well. According to Elikem, he has gotten lots of benefits financially from these women and have also linked them to huge deals with big men in Ghana. Sharing his own side of the story months after being called out by one of the older women he sleeps with, the fashion designer said the woman in question changed her mind about their agreement and that was the reason the issue came on social media.   Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister of Education, says no student in the public universities will pay utility bills from next academic year. This is intended to lessen the financial burden on students and increase access to tertiary education in the country. Dr Opoku Prempeh, who announced this at the third edition of the Nation Building Updates in Accra on Tuesday, said the Akufo-Addo led government was the first to introduce a tertiary education policy to streamline interventions rolled out in the sector. He said if the ruling government was re elected , a tertiary students would only need his or her Ghana Card to secure a student's loan. There will be no need for a guarantor.   Superstar footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for coronavirus while on International duty for Portugal. The Juventus striker is not suffering any symptoms, but is now self-isolating and will play no part in Portugal's clash with Sweden. The Portugal's Football Federation said in a statement: "Cristiano Ronaldo was released from the work of the National Team after a positive test for COVID-19, so he will not face Sweden. "The Portuguese international is doing well, without symptoms, and in isolation.   The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the Presidency is not a place for correction of mistakes by erratic leaders. After being ousted from office in 2016, former President Mahama is seeking re-election to the Presidency and he has been telling Ghanaians that he will correct his mistakes if he is given a second chance. But Dr. Bawumia has shot down Mahama's claim of rejuvenation, saying the Presidency is a place for serious business, not for correction of mistakes.   President of the Ghana-Russia Business Development Council (GRBDC), Dr. Awutu Boateng, is calling on the Government of Ghana to initiate moves to rescue some Ghanaian nationals in Russia. Dr. Awutu Boateng, in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on the Monday's edition of Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'', disclosed how some Ghanaians, particularly men, are suffering at the hands of these Eastern Europeans. The sad aspect of the situation, he asserts, is that these Ghanaian victims cannot return home due to legal consequences or fear of a jail sentence. Dr. Awutu Boateng recounted how the men get to Russia believing their hook up with a Russian lady on the internet will lead to marriage, only to realize that they are about to be turned into sex objects.   Two out of the three accomplices of Bishop Daniel Obinim, the Head Pastor of the International God’s Way Church who has been slapped with fresh criminal charges in the ongoing forgery trial at the Kaneshie District Court have been identified. The prosecution and the defence team are therefore co-operating with the police to have the remaining one arrested and put them before the court, the District Court presided over by Her Worship Rosemond Duodua Agyiri was told. In court on Monday, October 12, 2020, the prosecution led by Sargent Asamoah Richard told the Court that they are working on getting the other accomplice who is at large. He said the defence is co-operating with them in doing so and once they get them through the right processes, they will be before the court. Out of the over 5000 members of the Ghana Blinds Union in the Ashanti Region, the latest needs assessment saw over 4,700 expressing their dire need for white canes.
